We use aerial photography equipment to get right up to the roofs, chimneys, gutters, and high-level brickwork that a standard inspection never reaches, at no extra cost. We are an independent firm of property consultants based in Guildford, working across Surrey and Berkshire. The practice was built on a career that began in commercial property, and is led by Uzoma, a Chartered Building Engineer holding an MSc in Building Surveying from Kingston University. We are regulated by RICS.

Common Questions

  • Which survey level do I need?

    For a property of standard construction in reasonable condition (for example a two-bedroom flat or a 1940s semi), a Level 2 survey is usually the right call. For older properties, listed buildings, non-traditional construction, or anything that has been altered or extended, a Level 3 survey is worth the additional cost. If you are not sure, send us the property details and we will tell you which one fits.

  • How quickly can you get to me?

    For pre-purchase surveys under chain pressure, we can usually attend within a few days and turn the report around within five working days of the inspection. Tell us the deadline when you enquire and we will be straight with you about whether we can hit it.

  • I have just had a party wall notice. What do I do?

    You have fourteen days from the date you received the notice to respond. Do not consent without speaking to a surveyor first, because consenting waives some of your protections. Call us and we will walk you through your options. Acting for the adjoining owner is paid for by your neighbour, not by you.

  • Do you charge for the phone call after the survey?

    No. The phone call is part of the survey. We will telephone you to talk through what we found before the written report goes out, and we are happy to answer follow-up questions after the report has landed too.
